Life on the Island

I guess ill tell you a little about my daily life here. It starts off with a 6:30 alarm. I get out of bed and take a nice cold shower. I start work at 7:00 am. During my first couple hours at work I serve breakfast to guests and check over the bar from the night before. I count the money to make sure it all comes out right. Also, I check them out of the lodge. At around 10:30 the morning panga (transport boat from Big Corn) arrives. It is a 20 min walk from the lodge to the panga at a leisurely pace. When I get there I great the on coming guests and welcome them to the island. I take their bags and show them the town. I show them Dive Little Corn and Tranquilos. I also walk with them back to the lodge and get them checked in. From about 11:30 - 2:30 I am busy checking over guest charges, stocking the bar for the evening, and serving the walk in guests throughout the day. From 2:30- 7, I go explore the island and learn more about the culture and good things for the guests to go do (as well as myself). Dinner is served at 7. I have yet to go for a swim (maybe today). I usually go into town till around 11 or 12 and then I go to sleep. Rinse and Repeat. Tell me what you want to know and who knows, maybe I'll try to write about it.  Now for the pictures!
